Connect has been transforming the lives of young Queenslanders for more than a decade. The program takes Year 9 students at high risk of suicide, substance abuse and depression, on a life-changing, 18-month adventure-based experience. Many of these teens discover and embrace a hope-fi lled future and a large number become employees within Queensland’s building industry. Build the Future provides a critical step up for more young people, building a brighter future for our community.
